Jim and Nicky are experienced professional photographers who specialise in photographing people.
Jim has a BA(Hons) in photography and is also an Associate of the Royal Photographic Society (ARPS), both gained in 1998.
Nicky was awarded her Associateship (ARPS) of the Royal Photographic Society in 2014 with a stunning set of pictures featuring young ballet dancers outdoors in a variety of settings.
They have been running their business full-time since 1998 and are well known in the local area for enthusiasm when photographing people. This has included weddings, family and commercial portraiture, schools, and dancers. More than 700 weddings, over a 1000 family shoots, and tens of thousands of school pictures later, they still retain their love of photography.
Although they are full-time professionals, they are also keen photographers in their spare time. In addition to young dancers, Nicky has become an experienced photographer of Brown Hares and Mountain Hares and is often out before dawn.
With his amateur hat on, Jim has become an experienced appraiser and competition judge for the Southern Federation. He attends around 20 events a year, and in addition he and Nicky give a number of talks to photography clubs.
Recently Jim has joined the assessment team for the RPS, and has also been entered on The Southern Counties Photographic Federations Roll of Honour for his longstanding service in the amateur photography community.
When not photographing, they will most likely be playing tennis or riding their tandem.
